EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Position: Executive Assistant
Regular: Part-Time
Minimum 25 Hours Per Week (5 – 6 Hours Daily – Monday – Friday)
Salary: $12.00/Hour
The Executive Assistant (EA) reports to the Chamber 1st Vice President who establishes workflow requirements, standards, guidelines and provides performance feedback. The EA is responsible to anticipate organizational requirements and prioritize, manage and execute the Chamber’s workflow to include but not limited to the organization’s master calendar; contact management; financial bookkeeping processes and programs; meetings; community outreach; marketing and advertising strategies and publications; and scheduled and unscheduled projects. More specifically, the incumbent makes and receives calls, emails and text messages, routes correspondence, and handles requests and queries. He/she also executes the Chamber’s financial management program to include but not limited to dues assessments and billing, maintaining accurate account balance and making deposits. Additional key duties include maintaining social media sites and printed materials (such as websites, social media, and newsletters) with current Chamber news and information. The incumbent must be adept at working on a one-on-one basis and in small group settings and act as liaison to Chamber committees, Chamber members and external civic organizations. A high level of business decorum is critical in all Chamber activities. Additional duties not outlined above may be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma
• Minimum 4 years’ executive assistant or office manager experience
• Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills with ability to become familiar with Chamber-specific software
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Social media familiarization
• Website design and development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Two- or four-year business degree
• Familiarization with QuickBooks
